Kidepo Valley National ParkKidepo Valley National Park was gazetted in 1962 and lies in the rugged semi arid valleys of north eastern Uganda about 700km north east of Kampala. The park is known for big game, beautiful plains and a hundreds of bird spicies. Gazetted as a national park in 1962, it has a profusion of big game and hosts over 77 mammal species as well as around 475 bird species.

+ Only national park in Uganda with Ostritches
+ Lies in semi arid valleys and plains at the border intersection of Uganda, Kenya and South Sudan
